Kokapet Residence
A working kitchen in quarter-sawn oak, drawn around a single island that runs the length of the room. Every drawer front came off one board, so the grain carries across all nine of them.

Jubilee Hills Duplex
Two kitchens in one house, drawn to read as the same room on both floors. The upper one is a third the size and had to lose nothing.

A dressing room built into an awkward corner of an older house, where no two walls met at ninety degrees and none of them were plumb.

A kitchen that had to disappear. The client cooks daily and entertains often, and did not want the second thing to look like the first.
